hello sister monk and long time no see or hear...however, i thought i heard you this morning on montana's npr station as i sit at my computer at work...a song came on and i swore it was you guys, but alas it was just some other musicians--it did lead me to check out your website again and connect after a long hiatus, since long before i left whidbey...i am so happy to hear you are still jammin' your funky spirit-filled grooves...i hope your new year's show is a blast as it was the past two years i was blessed to be your groupie...:)...much love and light and happy holidays to you, amy kalil

To: JodyMooniMuff The book of love is long and boring No one can lift the damn thing It's full of charts and facts and figures and instructions for dancing But I I love it when you read to me And you You can read me anything The book of love has music in it In fact that's where music comes from Some of it is just transcendental Some of it is just really dumb But I I love it when you sing to me And you You can sing me anything The book of love is long and boring And written very long ago It's full of flowers and heart-shaped boxes And things we're all too young to know But I I love it when you give me things And you You ought to give me wedding rings And I I love it when you give me things And you You ought to give me wedding rings And I I love it when you give me things And you You ought to give me wedding rings You ought to give me wedding rings

If y'all ever go on tour South through Ca. make sure you book a gig here in San Luis Obispo (S.L.O.) there's Linea's cafe, but also the Two dogs cafe as well as the Railroad cafe. Any of these cafes would make for a great stopover especially the Railroad cafe, which has really taken off...just our type of crowd.... Shalom

I wanted to take a moment to tell you, Jody, what a blessed artist you are. Here's a randomly selected Rumi poem: You've seen a herd of goats going down to the water. The lame and dreamy goat brings up the rear. There are worried faces about that one, but now they're laughing, because look, as they return, that goat is leading! There are many different kinds of knowing. The lame goat's kind is a branch that traces back to the roots of presence. Learn from the lame goat, and lead the herd home. You wanted something thought-provoking, so there ya go :) Lovely site you have here, especially the pictures and biographies. Rock on~*~*~*~ Your groupie, Katrina

Kathy's voice is capable of penetrating ones very soul. It is raw in an aesthetically pleasant way. It is powerful in a Jesus clearing the temple way. Her demeanor appears to exemplify grace, humility, and sexuality. Jody´s rhythm help centers so many beautiful expressions from the other contributors. This provides the listener with a potentially spiritual experience.

I first heard these guys play outside a mall in Seattle while there on a trip over from London. Normally streetside music doesn't grab you - but this did. SisterMonk are a refreshing sound - good luck with the music guys.

Bill did a great job on your web site. I would imagine you are very proud. Enjoyed your show last night as i did the first one i attended at George's. Now i'm a devotee. You are all great musicians and Kathy is the best drummer ever!!! She must have blown them away at the festival this weekend! Sincerely, Marsha Major
